I'm a dental hygienist. Our office is looking for a new laser. I want one that has reusable / sterilizable tips and I don't have to constantly hold the button down as I'm treating the gums. I read in the manual you have posted online that the tips onthe "Dental Diode Laser Wireless Pen Periodontal Soft Tissue Laser Therapy Pen Pain Relief Machine," must be sterilized before use. 1-Does that mean the tips are autoclavable? 2- are the tips reusable? 3- how many uses can you get from one tip? 4- how much does it cost to replace the tips? 5- when using the handpiece do you have to hold the button down constantly to use the laser? Or is there some kind of timer? Is there a pedal? In other words, how do you activate the machine and keep it going?
